Make no mistake, almond is the star of these bars. Their flavor is credited to the toasted almonds, almond butter, and almond extract. Texture and crunch from whole grain oats and the roughly chopped almonds, and chia seeds make this bar very satisfying and rich in antioxidants. The giant dried cherries enhance the almond taste, texture and chew to these bars. To offset the lower sugar content (10g) we finish with a hot honey drizzle. Have no fear the hot honey is barely perceptible in heat but adds enough distinction to make you wonder why it tastes so good.
